Just in time for Forth of July, these absolutely ridiculous and somewhat festively necessary make the perfect pre-July 4 treat. Think of these, as the adult, alcohol included candy for adults.
Start a batch after dinner the night before your party. First, make the gelatins, and pour into separate pans. Once the gelatin is set, about an hour, dice the gelatin.
Remove the jigglers from the pan, and mix the colors up as desired.
Pour the liquid gelatin to about 3/4 of the way up the cubes. Cut and skewer the gelatin within an hour or two of serving.
Although the recipe below is an adult version, spiked with flavored rum or vodka, a kid-friendly version can be made.
