Why were there so many strange things going on at London Fashion Week? Is it just us, or does it seem way more outlandish – and frankly, more fun – than what walked down and surrounded the runways at New York Fashion Week?
Models wore ram horns over their eyes. Shirts were all hot pink and bejeweled and embroidered – straight out of your 80s closet. Lana Del Rey looked eerily ghetto-fab in some weird bronzy lip color that I’m pretty sure I wore yesterday with hoop earrings (I was experimenting). Other models wore what appeared to be bathroom rugs and tissue paper hats leftover from the designer’s last birthday presents. There were sequined jumpsuits, glitter oxfords, morbid veils, and dizzying presentation sets. Here – scroll down and you’ll see what I mean.
