These cutout leather boots by Maison Martin Margiela say, “Let’s have a semi-fall moment in the middle of summer.” Sometimes when I go out at night, I just get in a very intense boot-wearing mood. Summer’s fashion restrictions, however, dictate that I am not allowed to be in this mood. I think that Maison Martin Margiela just gave me permission to wear boots in July by creating this quasi open-toe version. So, thank you, Mr. Margiela.
