Hi I’m Jessica, and I’m a nail polish addict. I can’t help but check the Essie website every week to look for new updates in their collection; I am fascinated by the funky colors and the names that coincide and I also must confess that I change my polish color every week.
This shade named “DJ Play That Song” literally makes me want to blast music and dance around. It’s SO pretty and happy! It reminds me of a mixture between Essie’s “Play Date” and OPI’s “Ate Berries in the Canaries”. The lacquer almost comes off as a “jelly” consistency but once you apply a few coats it comes off opaque. This shade would also look amazing if you layered it on top of a stark white color because it would make the neon pop. I love the blue and pink hues that accompany this vibrant purple.
This is definitely my go-to spring color.
