This Saturday in the space of only a few short blocks East can meet West with two local free tasting events.
 
First up at Union Square Wines and Spirits stop in for their Presidential Pours Mega Tasting. Â

From 2pm-5pm enjoy a selection of domestic wines, including wine super locally from Red Hook Winery in Brooklyn.
In the mood to follow domestic wine with something more exotic? A few blocks away at Astor Wines, 399 Lafayette Street at east 4th St., you can sample three Sakes and a plum wine from Japan as well as a Brazilian Liquor.
Both events are free and no advance reservations are required.
