As a New Yorker, I walk a shit ton of blocks everyday. I need comfortable shoes, not 5-inch heels, to make it through the day. Sadly, comfortable shoes tend to be ugly and/or boring. Flats are always a great idea but they are also not the most comfortable when you have to walk miles to the subway and then wait 30 minutes for the train (I’m looking at you A train).
The only cute option we have left: Slip-on Sneakers.
